Feetology Podiatry Centre began back in 2006. Owner, Mark Caldwell had been working in the Redlands as a podiatrist since 2001 and saw an opportunity to take on a part time practice in a growing community.
Together with his wife, Ariella, they have grown the practice from these humble beginnings to what it is today, providing our community with more than 700 consults each month, keeping our patients moving and enjoying their best life.
Feetology started out as Redlands Podiatry in 2006.
We started as a small single room clinic operating 2 days a week in Victoria Point and has since progressed through two growth stages and a name change. This has resulted in our current clinic with a team of 3 podiatrists.
We take great pride and helping around 600 patients per month, keeping them on their feet and doing the things that they love.
We employ a team of highly skilled podiatrists focused on solving your foot concerns. All of our podiatrists begin their career with a four year university degree, and advance their knowledge by regularly attending workshops, conferences and seminars.
This commitment to ongoing learning and development ensures that we have the best and most up-to-date skills and techniques to help you get back to the things you love to do.

Mark Caldwell graduated his podiatry studies from Queensland University of Technology in 2000 and has been working in private practice in the Redlands since 2001.
His first introduction to podiatry came as a nine year old competing in ‘Little Athletics’ carnivals. His heels would be so sore at the end of an athletics carnival that he would be walking on his tip-toes to alleviate the pain. Podiatry got him back on the track and kept him sprinting through athletic competitions at school, state and national levels, as well as a few decathlons along the way.
Mark is an Accredited Podiatrist and a member of the Australian Podiatry Association. He attends many conferences and workshops to advance his knowledge. Mark is particularly interested in the area of musculoskeletal pain of the foot and lower limb and incorporates joint mobilisation and manipulation, and dry needling into his treatments.
Mark is a “local”. He created Redlands Podiatry in 2006 and is committed to keeping Redlands residents pain free and active so that they can continue to enjoy life and all that the Redlands has to offer. Mark is proud of the well regarded, bustling practice he has built.

Nisha Charles joined the Feetology team in 2024.
Nisha has completed her Bachelor of Podiatry at Southern Cross University. Nisha’s interest for Podiatry has stemmed from her passion for helping people and caring for her grandfather back in India who required assistance with diabetic foot care.
She enjoys all aspects of Podiatry with special interest in musculoskeletal conditions and ingrown toenail surgeries. Outside of work, Nisha is often out exploring cafes and spending quality time with friends and family. She also enjoys going to the gym on a regular basis
James joined the Feetology team in November 2023.
James is an experienced podiatrist with 10 years of practice in Rockhampton. He moved to Brisbane to support his son’s podiatry studies at QUT and joined Feetology Podiatry Centre in 2023.
James was an industrial engineer in South Korea for 8 years. However, working late every day did not allow him to spend enough time with his family. During his younger days, his exciting travels to Australia inspired him to immigrate with his family so they can share the same wonderful experiences. He believed that his career change to Podiatry would be more rewarding by helping others rather than being stressed in engineering.
James graduated from University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Podiatry in 2012. He has an interest in diabetic foot care and treating foot problems such as ingrown toenails, heel pain and ankle pain. In his spare time, James enjoys bushwalking with his family and his pet Chihuahua.
