This role will be perfect for you if you enjoy seeing new patients as well as growing relationships with your regulars.

Here's the best bit, this comes with the full support of a team that wants you to succeed in your new role. If you have a desire to learn and grow your skills both as a podiatrist and a person, you enjoy working with established frameworks and you are a team player,  this could be the perfect role for you.

So how do we help you learn and grow?

For starters, you are joining a team of practitioners who all value learning and growth.

We provide a structured mentoring and training program, there is a plan already set for your success and we back this up with all the support you need to reach your goals in a caring, fun and supportive environment.

As well as being part of a great team, you also get to work in a purpose built practice, providing the best care and experience for our patients. We have state of the art treatment rooms, utilise treatment modalities like Swift Microwave therapy, shockwave therapy and computerised gait analysis. We have the full support of a highly trained reception team so you can focus on caring for your patients.

The role is Monday to Friday - no weekend work required. This is a purely in clinic role, with no nursing homes or home visits required.

As you may have already guessed, we value your ongoing learning and include a generous CPD allowance and Australian Podiatry Association,  as well as covering your registration and insurances too.

Find Out More About Working At Feetology

What does a Podiatrists day look like at Feetology?

Every day starts with a standup. We all look at our day and make sure we are prepped for the patients coming in and any other tasks that we need to complete.

At the end of the day, we have time set aside to celebrate our successes and discuss any tricky cases.

What support do I get when I join the Feetology Team?

We have a structured onboarding program to get you up to speed as quickly as possible. Starting out or changing practices means learning new systems and ways of doing things, we make this as easy as possible for you.

You will also join into an active mentoring program that consists of weekly 1 on 1 meeting and bi weekly training sessions with the team. The focus of these sessions is to improve our patient outcomes with a focus on communication skills, treatment pathways and of course some inservice catch ups from local health professionals and footwear reps.

Once a quarter we get out of the office for an afternoon of learning and planning for the next quarter as well.

What are our Patients like?

They're great. They are why we come to Feetology everyday. Our patients are a mix of ages with differing issues. We see paediatric patients through to geriatrics and everything in between. On any given day you may be doing some shockwave, dispensing orthotics, using our Swift verruca treatment or helping out with some difficult toenails.

What is Victoria Point like?

Victoria Point is bayside suburb about 40 mins from Brisbane City. It was traditionally a retiree area, but in more recent times it is now attracting young families to the area. There are a selection of good state and private schools in close proximity and some large junior AFL and Netball clubs. This means that we do have our fare share of older patients, but we also see many younger kids come through as well.
