What types of orthotics do you have?

We have a few different types of orthotics. Everyone is different and will require a different level of support/ different style of orthotics to suit their footwear and lifestyle. Your podiatrist will determine which options are suitable for you based on their examination. They range from ‘library devices’ (where the podiatrist matches up a specific prefabricated orthotic with your foot/ footwear and orders it for you), semi-custom heat molded orthotics (were a heat moldable eva blank is molded to your foot and modified based on biomechanical measurements) and fully custom orthotics (made from a cast or scan of your foot in addition to biomechanical measures. These can be manufactured from a few different materials or a combination of them (i.e. softer EVA foam or firmer polypropylene plastic) based on the support required and the footwear they need to fit.
